Which version are you installing?

Check the label on the unit — it shows v1.0 or v1.1. The Wi-Fi setup procedure is different between the two versions.

Version 1.0 Guide

Shipped before 17 April 2026. Requires a Windows laptop with ecoess-setup.exe.

v1.1

Version 1.1 Guide

Shipped from 17 April 2026 onwards. Phone browser or laptop — your choice.

Unit label has no version printed? Try opening http://192.168.33.1/script/2/setup on your phone after connecting to the ECOESS-ATS Wi-Fi. If the setup page loads, it's a v1.1 unit. If you get an error, it's v1.0 — you'll need a laptop.

Installer support: contact ECO-ESS directly, or check the admin dashboard at admin.myats.eco-ess.co.uk — the device detail page shows software_version.
